We’re looking for an experienced Associate Director of UX Research to join our Design leadership team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and evolving our UX Research practice, managing a team of researchers, and working closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver customer-centered experiences.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with UX and Product leaders to plan research using diverse methodologies, conduct studies, and synthesize findings into actionable insights that drive product and design decisions
Lead advancement of UX Research practice to establish best practices, deliver with rigor consistently, optimize processes, and enhance capabilities
Manage and mentor a team of researchers to foster professional growth and a culture of curiosity and learning
Cultivate a deep understanding of customer needs and behaviors and promote a customer-centric product mindset amongst partners.
Support research to be conducted directly by UX designers with an expert, consultative approach
Establish, monitor, and analyze digital experience metrics to uncover opportunity and inform design strategy and optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align research activities with strategy and business impact
Qualifications
10+ years experience in UX Research (qual and quant) for digital products (non-marketing)
3+ years of direct people management experience (preferably of researchers or designers)
Flexible and creative approach to research, with expertise in selecting and executing appropriate methods including user interviews, usability testing, ethnographic studies, participatory design, surveys, and more.
Strong knowledge of best practices in research, human-centered design, and design thinking.
Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to present findings and collaborate with a wide variety of product stakeholders.
Ability to adapt and excel in a rapidly transforming environment.
Preferred but not required:
Prior experience with Financial Services / FinTech.
Successful record of working in a complex Enterprise organization.

Target base salary range is $160-200K, which is based on various factors including skills and work experience. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for bonuses or incentives that are based on individual and company performance.
