The Corporate Communications team is looking to fill the role of Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility Communications. This role will report to the Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications, supporting the Vice President of CSR. The CSR Communications manager will drive coordination and development of communications strategies to increase awareness of OneMain’s contributions to our communities and maximize the value, reach and impact of OneMain’s CSR efforts.
OneMain’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team is comprised of Corporate Communications, Marketing, Government Relations and Philanthropy. The group works closely with OneMain’s Executive Team to ensure CSR efforts are deeply rooted in our business practices and strategic planning.
Support the development and implementation of creative and dynamic externally and internally-facing strategic communications plans that amplify OneMain’s business and community impact with key audiences, using traditional and non-traditional channels in creative ways.
Create and manage a variety of different communications announcements and materials, such as newsletters, reports, and other collateral.
Develop creative ways to reach key stakeholders with our communications and amplify CSR across owned and external channels.
Measure and report the impact of communications plans, report performance and recommend/implement improvements.
Coordinate with colleagues across the CSR team as well as external partners.
Coordinate with the marketing/content team on CSR-related content for OneMain’s website and/or social media.
Manage CSR-related content across OneMain’s website and intranet.
Draft communications materials and social media posts for executives on OneMain’s senior leadership team.
Support ad hoc communications assignments across Corporate Communications and the CSR team.
Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field is required, advanced degree preferred.
Experience across and content development, stakeholder engagement, digital media and project management.
Understanding of global CSR trends and leading practices, particularly in the financial services industry.
5+ years of experience in general communications management
3+ years of experience driving innovative communications strategies for corporations, campaigns or non-profits.
Strategic thinker who can work collaboratively with colleagues to maximize the value of OneMain’s CSR efforts.
Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
Strong writing skills and problem-solving skills; sound judgment and strong collaborative decision-making skills.
Commitment to exemplifying the highest standards of integrity and professional excellence.
Role is remote to start but eventually based near a OneMain corporate site and may require up to 25% domestic travel once it is safe to do so.
