OneMain Financial, a leader in consumer lending, leverages MuleSoft to provide an integrated application network. We are looking for a new member of the development team to lead integration development of our Okta platform across the enterprise.
This is a remote role but should be located within the Eastern or Central time zone.
In this role, you will be responsible for learning and leveraging the MuleSoft platform to deliver integrated solutions based on business requirements specific to customer identity and access management (CIAM). The Software Engineer role is critical in the development team. This role is a mentor to other developers, and responsible for guiding and directing day to day activities within a project, and ensuring standards and processes are followed across all projects. You will help other developers with day to day project tasks as needed, as well as to report progress to key stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you should have the following.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science or related field
7+ years of experience in a development role, with a focus on integration-related work
Direct, hands-on experience developing integration, middleware, web services and/or REST APIs over a variety of technologies such as mainframe, distributed systems, and various on-premises & cloud-native applications.
Skilled in testing best practices including test case planning and unit testing
Capable of understanding business requirements and translating to technical solution design
Demonstrated ability to coach and guide developer(s) during development cycles to ensure requirements and design guidelines are being met
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to communicate complex technical terms in an easy to understand, non-technical manner
Able to engage with and establish trust and rapport with all levels of team members
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Capable of managing multiple projects at once and prioritizing duties
Demonstrated experience using monitoring and alerting tools such as Kibana/Grafana (ELK), Sentry, AppDynamics
Additional experience a plus:
Experience and expert knowledge of Identity as a Service and Federation technologies (Okta, ISAM, TFIM, etc.)
Experience and knowledge of authentication protocols (SAML, SSO, OIDC, etc.)
Experience and knowledge of identity stores/directories (AD, Oracle LDAP, AD LDS, etc.)
