The Technology Architecture and Compliance Leader plays key role in the Technology Operations and strategy with responsibility to lead and oversee the design and implementation of OneMain’s enterprise architecture and technology risk management. This leader is a trusted advisor to senior IT leadership to ensure IT solutions meet secure design principles and that security is embedded in all enterprise IT architectural designs and roadmaps. This role will lead in the identification and selection of enterprise solutions to achieve the Technology strategy and vision.
You will create conceptual and technical design artifacts with emphasis on long-term technology planning. You will also evaluate enterprise IT designs for their alignment with the enterprise security architecture. The Architect Leader has a demonstrated mastery in multiple control and compliance frameworks, with the ability to both lead and advise on the overall designs and strategies for technology. Leads the development, implementation and monitoring of a strategic, comprehensive enterprise roadmap to ensure that the integrity, confidentiality, availability and resilience of information is owned, controlled or processed by the organization.
This is a Hybrid role with the expectation to be in one of our primary offices in Baltimore, Wilmington, Dallas/Fort Worth, Chicago or Evansville IN at least once a week.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Evaluating internal functions, business development strategies, and IT processes and suggesting improvements.
Creating business architecture models to reflect the organization's strategies and goals and creating and implementing business visions and goals.
Evaluating systems engineering, talent recruiting, and accounting models for discrepancies and vulnerabilities.
Suggesting ideas to reduce costs in IT and business leadership
Creating methods for compliance architecture, such as data storage, metadata management, and change control.
Determining and implementing build versus buy strategies, mentor personnel, and views of the overall business strategy.
Create and manage large, complex, programs by leading teams to deliver, enhance, and operate solutions and drive integration
Manages a team of Technology Compliance Leads who focus on activities related to the monitoring, measurement and reporting of adherence, compliance, adoption, and value commitments
Continuous engagement with Internal and External Audit and corporate risk and compliance teams as required (SOX, Regulatory, Project) to obtain and/or provide guidance or direction and assist in a support capacity, as needed
Creates and implements related compliance methodologies, and works with other compliance managers to analyze and develop policies, standards, processes and procedures for the Compliance team
Implementing an integrated control transformation program for Tech
Develop operational support processes to ensure tracking service level agreements, assessing risks and maintaining, testing and auditing existing systems
Defines and coordinates the OneMain Technology compliance to ensure the appropriate decision making and escalation processes
As such, leads coordination of the Information Technical and TOE Portfolio Committee meetings and processes and its sub-committee for IT policies and governance
IT Risk Management: Manages risk assessments, compliance, internal controls, forensic investigation, and the accreditation/certification of IT processes and products
Partnering cross-functionally with program stakeholders in the tech organization to provide strategic and tactical thought leadership while effectively driving project delivery
Facilitates and contributes to the creation of future state enterprise business and technical architecture models (such as process hierarchies, taxonomies, topologies as well as business capability models) to manage interdependency analysis with other projects or change initiatives
Provide thought leadership for major IT implementation decisions
Forecast enterprise technology investment needs for 1-3 years in line with architecture roadmaps
Supporting the creation of executive-level presentation materials to support the communication of program-level information for various stakeholders
Drive finalization of risk category and subcategory framework
Use analytical skills to conduct Risk Process Improvement, Process Design & Process Excellence
Work with dynamic teams on Departmental Process Management & Execution
Consult with Executives to determine interaction model with Lines of Business to create positive relationships.
Partner with architects, product owners, and software engineers to drive the adoption of new policies
Present Technology metrics and maturity indicators to senior executive leadership monthly.
Advise senior executive leadership on strategic initiatives and partnerships on risk indicators and right solutioning
Prepare architectural designs and strategies for key security investments as required
Lead in the evaluation of enterprise security technology platforms and products
Engage with key external vendors and partners to identify innovative solutions, keep abreast of security and technology emerging trends, and promote proof-of-concept trials of promising innovative solutions
Ensure current delivery meets with legislative, contractual and good industry practice standards, support project based activities with regard to life cycle, product/system selection, and maintainability of assets. support audit teams on Technical Compliance issues
Work with communication teams to disseminate and manage change, you'll also work with Asset Management Teams, Operational teams and audit teams in identifying trends of Technical, Contractual and Good Industry Practice non–compliance, implementing and supporting necessary change as part of continual improvement and risk reduction
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Bachelor's Degree business or computer science or related discipline
Minimum of 8 years' experience as a lead engineer or engineering manager or enterprise IT solutions architect
Skills and Knowledge
Demonstrated architectural mastery in one or more financial-sector specific technology specialty -- payments systems, digital technologies, or international banking systems integration efforts
Demonstrated experience as lead architect in solution design and implementation in a complex enterprise IT environment
Demonstrated knowledge of secure build and configuration standards in a highly regulated environment
Strategic Management of Enterprise Processes and Technologies: Introduces and manages innovations in business processes and enterprise technologies to meet the strategic needs of its customers, while ensuring compatibility with existing technology and compliance requirements
Formalized training in industry-standard architectural frameworks and techniques
Collaborating with internal stake holders to develop Internal Controls and ensuring they are maintained and followed in accordance with state and federal regulations
Coordinate communication of all changes to Internal Controls, systems, policies and procedures with all regulatory bodies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Including a strong ability to create positive and professional business relationships with partner engineering and architecture teams across IT
Strong commitment to working as a team and providing excellent customer service.
Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL, COBIT and NIST
Architecture certifications (SABSA, TOGAF, DODAF, etc.) are highly desired
