BrightWay is a recent entrant into the credit card space, and we are looking to more than triple in size in the next year through targeted acquisition, while introducing a steady stream of enhancements to our highly rated native mobile. We are hiring an experienced Product Manager who will be responsible for delivering a fully digital collections ecosystem, including enabling multiple communications channels, ie, email, SMS and chat, completing development of a real time “next best action” decision engine, enablement of different repayment programs, and a digital offer presentment and enrollment experience. This person will also need to support execution of a robust test and learn effort to ensure that the majority of collections efforts are through low-cost digital channels. This person will oversee the performance of a dynamic Agile product team and partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, and Design to define requirements and manage on-time delivery.
We are a remote-first company, although this role is preferably Charlotte-based to enable close partnership with development and analytics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive continuous delivery of new functionality to enable evolution of the digital collections ecosystem
Develop product roadmap in partnership with analytics and design team, and lead development process
Manage the product backlog and prioritize based on changing requirements
Supervise and advise the scrum team to meet feature acceptance criteria
Manage and own dependencies across teams and vendors
Actively track and manage all aspects of product development including feasibility assessment, requirements grooming, process documentation, hypothesis validation, and testing
Essential Qualifications:
5+ years of product management experience
Experience with digital marketing/communications and performance marketing a strong plus
Collections experience not required; willingness to learn a must
Experience leading high performing agile teams critical
Able to properly determine scope, key milestones, objectives, and dependencies of a project
Technically proficient to communicate with and support engineers effectively
Comfortable working cross-functionally in an agile environment
Able to think critically and independently
Passionate, nimble and curious
Location: hybrid schedule, on-site in our Charlotte office 2x/week
