This position will report into the ServiceNow Administration and Development Manager responsible for quality development of efforts for the OMF ServiceNow platform, triage and resolution of incidents, user support, documentation, and general maintenance of the environment. This position will work closely with requestors, stakeholders, and technology partners to maintain and enhance the functions in the OMF ServiceNow platform. Must have strong technical background and hands-on experience with ServiceNow, primarily in ITSM, HR, CSM, CMDB functions.
Design and develop solutions that leverage ServiceNow modules
CMDB / Discovery / Service Mapping
Design and develop integrations to other applications and platforms
Troubleshoot and resolve problems as it relates to ServiceNow and any of its integrations.
Remove blockers of all ServiceNow issues/defects
Conduct code reviews, ensure version control, and manage conflict resolution
Work with team members, stakeholders, developers, and practice leads to manage ServiceNow efforts from inception through release
Ensure best practice processes for ServiceNow are established and being followed
Communication of effort status and expectations with all parties
Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of the ServiceNow Platform
At least 7 years of experience with the design, development, and support of ServiceNow-ITSM technology
At least 5 years of ServiceNow Client and Server-side scripting and hands-on coding or development, including Ajax.
At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in integration with 3rd party applications using REST, SOAP, and other API’s.
Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow Workflow, Business Rules, Dashboards, Script Includes, Notifications and UI Macros
Concurrent experience in ServiceNow HR, ITSM, ITOM, CSM, and CMDB
Experience using Workflow Editor, Flow Designer to configure workflows
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
Experience with disciplined software release build/deploy processes
Thorough understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Specialist for Quebec and beyond
Strong Integration experience with 3rd party applications
Knowledge of Active Directory / LDAP
