About the Position

The Senior HRIS Analyst will serve as a technical & strategic adviser and resource for Workday HCM, working with HR, Payroll and other functional teams to provide creative solutions, including

reporting solutions, and long-term vision for our use of the system. This position will provide direct impact on reporting strategy and outcomes, exposure to company leaders, and the ability to

influence HCM strategy for a large public company.

Core Responsibilities & Expectations

  • Provide expertise, consultation and execution in areas of Workday business processes, reporting and integrations
  • Review and document business processes and functionality, including workflow and steps required to execute required tasks in Workday
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system support issues for functions such as Recruiting, Payroll or Benefits
  • Provide data analysis, comparisons & validations that would resolve headcount, tax reporting, general ledger or compliance
  • Analyze, design, and build custom reports and dashboards in Workday
  • Lead and perform routine testing with functional areas, managing change implementation
  • Partner with key stakeholders, including functional owners, on system configuration, trend analysis needs, and service delivery
  • Mentor other team members
  • Refine and build integrations, and provide support for inbound and outbound integration issues

Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience and High school diploma or GED
  • Expertise in Workday including HR, Payroll and Recruiting modules required
  • Superior problem-solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills and ability to interface directly with company leaders
  • Strong understanding of data transformation and analytics
  • Technical expertise with Workday tools Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, as well as integrations and extraction of data from Workday
  • Experience with financial and payroll processes, either as a practitioner or through extensive experience supporting as an HRIS analyst
  • Experience working with third-parties defining integration requirements and maintaining data integrity
  • Familiarity with Workday Security roles, models and domain security impacts
