Staff Accountant

An opportunity has arisen within our accounting team in Fort Worth, TX for a dynamic and driven finance professional to join as a Staff Accountant supporting the OneMain Solutions Insurance accounting and finance organization.

This position will be responsible for reconciliations, journal entries and the analysis and research of various accounts and balances.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing general ledger account reconciliations

• Research and analysis of account balances and transactions

• Journal entry preparation and review

• Provide support for SOX and MCA

• Unclaimed funds support

• Participate in ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and/or equivalent business/accounting experience

• 0 to 2 years’ experience in accounting, insurance experience a plus

• Accounting/GAAP knowledge

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel & Access)

• Experience with Oracle General Ledger a plus

• Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills

• Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment

• Strong interpersonal communications skills, both written and verbal
