The Solutions Architect will report into the Enterprise Architecture (EA) and Strategy team and will provide “value add” competencies for the organization in the areas of process engineering, strategy, solution design and emerging technology. This role requires strong communication skills at every level of the organization to ensure Technology’s initiatives align with the overall business strategies.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Collaborate with technology partners on providing solution designs that meet the needs of the business and align to while eliminating technical debt and aligning to target architectures.
Work with the CTO, Chief Architect, and other senior leadership on defining technology strategy and best practices.
Prepare documentation and messaging necessary for technology to communicate strategies and plans to peer and senior management.
Provide process engineering and project management support, as required.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Bachelor's Degree in business, computer science, information technology, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a business architect or solution architecture.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience performing solution design as part of an architecture team within the technology organization or enterprise architecture team.
Skills and Knowledge
Analytical mindset and ability to grasp complex topics.
Proven involvement in creating or leading complex projects.
Ability to create and foster relationships within technology and to the business.
Understanding of best practices, integration patterns, data repositories, infrastructure.
Ability to apply models, tools, and methods.
Architecture certifications (e.g., Zachman, TOGAF), preferred.
