The Associate Director, Change Management and Communications will plan and execute communications strategies to support change management goals and milestones as we innovate and transform our operating model. This is a unique and strategic role, and will report into the VP of Transformation.
Lead and support efforts in organization change management
Building comprehensive communications roadmap and milestones to support evolution of and adherence to our evolving business model, including urgent and focused communications that impact change adoption
Working closely with various internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, to develop key messages and to ensure that communications are clear, consistent and timely (often in partnership with Internal Communications)
Author, edit and develop communications including internal campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, education and morale in response to broader evolution and tactical day-to-day business impact and new controls and compliance measures
Building and fostering collaborative relationships with department leaders to stay informed and abreast of new initiatives and anticipate impacts to our team members
Working closely with business partners to understand their key priorities and focus areas for change management communications
Communicating and writing effectively and with impact, tailoring content to intended audiences
Ensuring consistency and impact of messaging across various communications
Well-developed leadership and change management capabilities with demonstrated success completing many cross-functional and strategic business projects including change management initiatives
At least 7 years of corporate communications and change management experience
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, Business, Instructional Design, or another relevant field
Financial Services or retail distribution transformation (changing footprint in response to digital transformation) experience
Excellent writing skills – the ability to develop concise and impactful communications across mediums while adhering to Company voice and style
Demonstrated capacity for leadership, communication and teamwork
Ability to work autonomously when needed
Superior critical thinking skills and the ability to take a concept from ideation to execution
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Strategic thinking, strong planning and organizational skills
Ability to influence with and without authority
Strong interpersonal and communications skills
