OneMain Financial is seeking a talented Associate Director, Marketing Business Analysis to lead development, tracking and reporting of KPIs and gather business intelligence to inform marketing strategies and campaigns, forecast impact and measure performance. They will partner with the broader Marketing team members (Social, Affiliate, Affinity, Media, Merchant Referral, Digital and Direct Mail) as well as the Analytics team to help optimize marketing channels. They must understand both analytics and marketing channels to fully integrate data with actionable program insights. Reporting to VP of Integrated Marketing, this individual will analyze, synthesize and visualize data from multiple sources, have a strong business intuition to guide their analysis, and work both independently and cross-functionally with finance, operations, and analytics stakeholders. The role requires a highly analytical and creative thinker with proven experience of delivering results. Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop deep analytical insights around the OMF customer experience and marketing spend
  • Monitor key metrics to create value from our analytics data.
  • Define, build, analyze, monitor, and report Key Results and KPIs that inform marketing strategy
  • Analyze and report on customer behavior, sentiment, and outcomes to non-technical business partners
  • Forecast and report on expense, channel performance metrics, production impact (applications, loans, revenue), ROI and profitability
  • Partner with marketing business owners to develop and prepare regular reports on program/channel performance for senior leadership
  • Partner with analytics and across marketing to provide data and analytics insight and direction to drive marketing strategy decisions while reporting on program performance

  • Work to provide analytic insights into development of new initiatives including Customer Loyalty and Engagement, Regional Marketing Strategies, Affinity Partnerships, Promotional Offers, Merchant Referral Programs, CPL optimization


  • BS/MS degree in an analytical or data driven discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years analytics experience, financial services experience preferred
  • Expert-level Excel skills
  • Proficiency in modeling and analysis
  • Ability to synthesize complex financial data and research into executive summaries
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to execute against strict deadlines; project management expertise, and a collaborative approach to participating in cross-functional teams
  • Flexibility in a rapidly-changing environment
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interact with business leaders
  • Track record of providing recommendations and analysis in support of marketing programs


  • MBA or other related advanced degree
  • Financial industry experience
