The Head of Centralized Sales is responsible for leading the overall strategic direction and execution of a multi-state centralized sales organization. Reporting to the Head of Centralized Operations, the successful candidate will design and execute the overall vision and strategy of the sales operation while improving processes and motivating their team to achieve critical goals. This enterprise leader will drive and ensure operational goals / metrics are achieved or exceeded through structure and consistent execution of compliant business practices.
Develop and execute short and long term sales strategies to ensure attainment of sales objectives for growth and profitability
Partner across the organization to support business initiatives and organizational sales goals
Drive the use of industry best practices and efficiencies in a centralized sales model, leveraging technology and data to enhance the customer experience
Partner with internal stakeholders to design incentive plans based upon productivity metrics
Working across the organization, design processes and experienced to help to remove friction from customer experience
In collaboration with the Marketing team, identify processes and expectations on customer/prospect quality
Develop and drive calling and contact strategies through phone and alternative channels such as Text, Chat, Video interaction
Leading, directing and prioritizing Sales activities in order to meet or exceed customer expectations and ensure departmental performance level
Provide reporting and facilitate strategic planning sessions to improve process flow, cycle time and customer service
Providing escalation support on complex issues between the team and external vendors and customers to enhance department efficiency
Maintaining a thorough knowledge and understanding of company policies and procedures, as well as, state and federal laws
Collaborating with peers and business partners to establish and coordinate interdepartmental policies and procedures. Partners both formally and informally with others to achieve optimal outcomes
Hiring, coaching, and developing team members; communicating performance level expectations; making salary recommendations; providing constructive feedback and establishing an accountability rhythm to ensure goals of individual team members and the team meet or exceed expectations
Builds appropriate rapport with team members by establishing trust and mutual purpose
Modifies approach to engage and influence team members through self-awareness and awareness of personal impact on others
Developing processes and tools to ensure efficient operation
Ensures projects are appropriately resourced; effectively executed; deliver full scope on schedule, with high functionality and within budget. Ensures proper measurement tools in place to monitor status and report results
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management or related field required
Minimum of 10 years leadership experience in the Financial Services industry in a Centralized Sales role.
Minimum of 5 years experience leading a Centralized sales team of 100+ team members.
Proven success in a broad consumer lending operations
Ability to successfully execute strategies in both Centralized and Branch/Field environments.
Proven ability to streamline processes.
Ability to act and think strategically.
Familiarity with city, state, and federal rules and regulations pertaining to the finance industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

A minimum of five years experience leading a multi-site centralized sales operation.
