We are currently seeking a Manager for our Strategy & Analytics team in Wilmington, DE. This role will have the exciting opportunity to learn and drive significant business results by optimizing performance management of our branch network.
Working with various partners, including deep partnership with senior leaders in operations, the role will have responsibilities of strategy development and deep analytics in addition to ad-hoc analyses including customer and branch segmentation, sensitivity analysis, and performance measurement. These strategies include, but are not limited to, determining key performance drivers, footprint strategy, staffing model and optimization, and workforce management and capacity.
A successful candidate will expand their competencies and grow their business and industry acumen, as well as demonstrate the ability to work on complex processes or projects across the end-to-end project cycle. They will gain knowledge to suggest new answers to old questions, develop insights and push the traditional boundaries of the branch experience. In addition, this candidate will need to demonstrate an ability to partner with the leadership team and develop solutions that are executable and meaningful in practice.
Design, recommend, and execute branch footprint and capacity strategies that advance our performance and efficiency objectives
Make connections between strategic experimentation on operating model transformation and broader enterprise footprint and staffing moves
Lead analysis and develop profit-driven decision framework and strategies to drive healthy growth
Partner with other leaders to define business priorities and communicate progress to executive management
Understand the data environment to appropriately prioritize and set expectations for key reporting, and analytical priorities
Effectively prioritize competing initiatives across direct reports; translate strategic priorities into individual/team initiatives and manage expectations
Bachelor’s Degree (Graduate a plus) in a quantitative discipline, such as Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business Management or Computer Science
5+ years of experience in complex, data-driven problem solving; Master’s or PHD degrees may offset experience
Strong SAS / SQL and Excel skills; proficiency in other analytical or business intelligence platforms a plus
Innovative and capable of developing a highly analytical approach to solving problems
Ability to partner with other functional areas to bring a strategic and data-driven lens to decision making
Experience effectively prioritizing competing initiatives across direct reports; translating strategic priorities into individual/team initiatives and manage expectations
