The Role
We are currently seeking a Manager, Digital Originations for our Strategy & Analytics team in Wilmington, DE. OneMain is investing heavily in digital to transform and optimize our business model.   This person will sit at the intersection of business strategy, analytics, and technology and focus on digital contact strategy within the loan originations space.   They will play a critical role in shaping our customer engagement and re-engagement strategies across both the Full Digital Close and Team Member assisted Originations journeys.

A successful candidate will possess the analytics background and strategic acumen to draw insights from qualitative customer insights and quantitative data to inform decisions and support the company’s overarching strategic goals relative in Originations.  They will bring the learning agility and out-of-the-box thinking needed to blaze new trails and push the thinking on customer engagement.  Cross functional partnership will be critical as this individual will take a leadership role across organizationally diverse projects.  In addition, this individual will need strong communication skills capable of building consensus and strong partnerships at all levels of the organization.     


  • Crafting digital contact strategies across email, SMS, Chat, and other digital channels to create engagement and drive applicant conversion across originations channels.

  • Partnering with Product, Communications and Technology to create and deliver into market new use cases for digital capabilities such as event and behavioral based outreach.

  • Designing and optimizing customer segmentation based on data and insights to improve response rates and applicant follow-through.

  • Developing and executing hypothesis-based testing to prove strategies and tactics,  learning quickly and iterating based on insights and newly informed hypotheses.

  • Partnering with other functional areas to bring a strategic and data-driven lens to decision making 

  • Managing and developing a team of direct reports while effectively prioritize competing initiatives; translate strategic priorities into individual/team initiatives and manage expectations


  • Bachelor’s Degree (Graduate a plus) in a quantitative discipline, such as Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business Management or Computer Science is preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in complex, data-driven problem solving. Master’s or PHD degrees may offset experience. 

  • At least one year of people management experience

  • Innovative and capable of developing a highly structured and analytical approach to solving problems

  • Proven Success managing multiple projects with a high degree of independence

  • Proficient with SQL, Google Analytics or similar digital insight tools (preferred), MS Office
