The Role
We are seeking a Senior Analyst primarily focused on current customer segmentation and marketing analytics to join our Customer Marketing and Engagement Analytics team in Wilmington, DE, New York, Chicago or Baltimore. The team provides overall customer performance analytics as well segmenting existing customers to drive more targeted marketing messages.
The analyst will focus on analyzing marketing channel level performance to optimize customer renewals, retention of current customers, cross selling additional products and services, and driving and maintaining engagement with OneMain’s online presence including the mobile app.
In addition, the analyst will be responsible for survey response data and understanding the impact of customer experience on long term profitability. The analyst will work closely with marketing channel owners such as direct mail, email and digital marketing, as well as operational functions such as marketing execution, technology and branch operations.
This role requires expertise in marketing analytics and understanding of omnichannel customer experience, an analytical mindset, and the ability to analyze data from multiple disparate sources as an advanced user of data query tools. The role will also have responsibilities of reporting, strategy implementation and validation, and ad-hoc analyses spanning the entire customer experience.
Responsibilities
Support building OneMain's customer renewal, engagement and retention strategies by developing hypotheses on opportunities to maximize renewal, conversion and engagement rates. Drive implementation and measurement of performance of new strategies.
Partner with the marketing, marketing execution, digital, technology and operations teams to execute new tests, tools and programs
Partner with other members of the marketing analytics team, as well as with finance and risk to provide input to forecasts and budgets, and to prioritize initiatives based on ROI targets
Measure tests and optimize creative, cadence and sequencing of marketing of renewal loans to current customers
Develop analytical tools and frameworks to drive test design and post-test analytics, supported by statistical significance calculations, KPI dashboards and data visualization tools.
Partner with the marketing, marketing execution, technology and operations teams to execute new tests, tools and programs
Be able to complete analyses with some supervision, draw conclusions, presents results to various levels of leaders and influence business/strategy decisions.
Qualifications
Minimum B.S. in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science from accredited college or University. M.S. is a plus.
2-3+ years' experience in a marketing or customer analytics role and/or financial services analytics
Strong SQL skills leveraging large datasets to support required reporting and analytics. SAS, R or Python is a plus.
Experience leveraging data visualization and digital marketing tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker is a plus
Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
Lending or consumer finance industry experience preferred
