As a critical member of the Recruiting team, the Manager of Talent Attraction is responsible defining and executing employer branding strategies in order to attract key talent and position OneMain as an Employer of Choice. The Talent Attraction Manager will work with key internal and external stakeholders to develop sourcing and marketing strategies to support key talent needs in each market. This leader will be a champion of the candidate and client experience and maintain OneMain’s presence on all current and future platforms (, social media, 3rd party platforms, etc.). 


Employer Brand/ Digital Presence

  • Develop an Employee Value Proposition (EVP) in order to attract top talent and position OneMain as an employer of choice in partnership key internal stakeholders (Marketing, Communications, HR).

  • Leads all Recruiting’s branding and marketing campaigns providing strategic direction and thought leadership for specific needs, including Employee Referral Program. 

  • Coordinate advertising, social media and PR activity in partnership with internal and external stakeholders

  • Develops and maintains OneMain’s employment presence on, social media, and 3rd party platforms

  • Partners with 3rd party marketing firms and Recruiting Managers to execute strategies in alignment with the OneMain brand and specific market needs.

  • Keep apprised of industry best practices in branding strategies, platforms and technologies in alignment with OneMain’s brand and Recruiting goals; introduce and/or pilot when appropriate

  • Partners with Marketing and Legal on appropriate approvals for Social Media strategy and content

  • Develop and manages editorial calendar supporting OneMain’s Employer Branding campaigns

  • Develop and Manage the OneMain Candidate experience process, including candidate communications, touchpoints, surveys and measurements.  Partners with Recruiting Managers to develop appropriate standards and expectations.

Talent Pipelines/Sourcing Leadership

  • Create and lead Sourcing function collaborating with Recruiting Managers to identify and develop key outreach sourcing initiatives to ensure a constant pipeline of talented and diverse applicants

  • Build comprehensive sourcing and pipeline strategies to support critical talent segments based upon Workforce Planning and Succession Planning outcomes in partnership with Recruiting Managers

  • Provide direction, training and thought leadership to Sourcers in support of developing in house sourcing function. 

  • Implement strategies and processes to maximize external sources of talent, focusing on passive candidate identification and pipeline development.

  • Partner with the Recruiting Managers and to monitor the effectiveness of sourcing and pipelines, including source effectiveness.

  • Keep apprised of sourcing best practices and emerging tools/technologies; introduce and/or pilot when appropriate

  • Identify opportunities to up-skill Recruiting team in critical talent attraction skills and project manage delivery of appropriate up-skilling activities including workshops, training, e-learning etc.

  • Provide thought leadership and direction to Recruiting Team in gathering and reporting talent market insights and competitive intelligence

  • Partner with Recruiting Managers to monitor workload of Sourcers and direct allocation of work according to business needs. 


  • Develop, monitor, and analyze key metrics for all Talent Attraction initiatives

  • Develop effective metrics and measurements to ensure growth of communities and follower loyalty through building, launching, monitoring, maintaining, and evaluating performance of assets for each channel, including LinkedIn career pages, Glassdoor, Facebook, careers page. Based on analysis, determine the priority for updating channels through ROI analysis.


  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years marketing experience in a recruitment function or firm or an equivalent combination of experience

  • Experience leading and/or developing sourcing functions

  • Proven team building, management and leadership track record

  • Demonstrated experience in managing and influencing senior stakeholders in multiple locations and matrix environment

  • Excellent consultative influence management skills with a track record of gaining the trust and confidence of leadership teams

  • Proven success in understanding and anticipating business priorities and contributing to the development of the business strategy

  • Strong analytical and metrics orientation with the desire and ability to use metrics to gain awareness and visibility to support a position and to tell the story

  • Excellent time management and project management skills including successful leadership of projects from planning phase through completion

  • Stellar written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to positively communicate with all levels in the organization in an effective manner
