OneMain is seeking a senior leader to head analytics for our fast-growing credit card business. In this critical role, the individual will manage and continue to build out the analytics team for the card business. This leader will be responsible for all aspects of analytics ranging from credit card originations, customer management, and into collections and recoveries.
This is a highly visible role reporting to the head of Credit Cards with frequent interaction with the CEO, CFO, Chief Credit Officer and Board of Directors. A successful candidate will expand their competencies and grow their business and industry acumen, as well as demonstrate the ability to work on complex processes or projects across the end-to-end project cycle. They will gain knowledge to suggest new answers to old questions, develop insights and push the traditional boundaries of the lending industry.
Location: This role can be based in any OneMain people center with preference to Baltimore, MD, Charlotte, NC and Wilmington, DE locations.
Responsibilities
Credit Strategy and Underwriting: Develop and optimize credit card lending policies across the entire customer lifecycle. Responsibilities include new customer acquisitions, customer management programs (including line increases, balance build, etc), and collections. Communicate performance and initiatives progress with leadership teams across the organization. Create and execute all credit cards risk/reward frameworks, NPV and CLV models required to manage the growing card business. Develop and manage the card learning agenda.
Product and Pricing Strategy: Optimize various product terms and balance multiple competing objectives and constraints. Ensure products are competitive, drive positive selection, and deliver on profitability targets communicated to the board and investors.
Shape Overall Business Strategy: Collaborate with the head of Cards and Chief Credit Officer and OneMain Executive team to lay out a multi-year strategy. Drive risk and profitability outcomes for the cards business. Support M&A due diligence.
Board and Executive Updates: Provide regular updates to the CEO, executive team and board on business performance and key initiatives. Work with the CFO and Treasury on investor liaison, earnings prep, and market messaging.
Team Leadership: Build and develop a high-performing team capable of delivering on the cards agenda. Manage cross-functional relationships across the enterprise with key stakeholder groups. Partner closely with finance, operations, product, data science, and legal to lead business results.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (required) or Advanced Degree (preferred) and 15 + years’ analytics leadership experience with significant exposure to credit cards or Fintechs
10+ years of managing credit and pricing in a consumer lending business (preferred experience within nearsub-prime credit)
Experience running a large P&L, or a substantial function within a P&L, and driving business results.
Knowledge of consumer-lending best practices, including the use of advanced statistical techniques and data sources
Experience presenting to executive management or board regarding business performance
