An opportunity has arisen within our accounting team for a dynamic and driven Accounting Professional to join us as an Accounting Specialist Sr. focused on Accounts Payable.

In the Role

  • Perform accurate invoice entry for timely payments
  • Managing the AP mailbox and answering emails
  • New vendor setup
  • Knowledge of accounting principle
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies and principles
  • Trouble shoot mobile app, expense report and unsubmitted reports issues
  • Assist with the preparation and review of Accounts Payable reports
  • Provide excellent customer service when assisting Internal and External customers
  • Detailed research and analysis of account balances and transactions
  • Other special projects work as needed

Requirements

  • High School Diploma. Some college is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience working in accounting, accounts payable or other business related field
  • Strong Microsoft Office knowledge and work experience
  • Ability to follow established accounting and regulatory policies and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people at different levels
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and an understanding of internal controls

Location: Irving, TX – Flexible Hybrid Schedule
