ASSISTANT MANAGER SR
At OneMain, Senior Assistant Managers assist the Branch Manager in creating an efficient work environment that fosters the ability to deliver exceptional customer experience by providing leadership and training to branch staff. This position leads by example in providing personal loan solutions through business development, and collection activity.
IN THE ROLE
- Oversee and participate in actively marketing all branch products and services to individuals (such as, but not limited to application handling, insurance products, collections effectiveness, loan extension) to positively impact profitability and growth
- Evaluating risks and ensuring sound lending decisions are made to assure compliance
- Oversee and participate in collection activities in the branch
- Utilizes advanced negotiation skills to resolve delinquency issues, analyze customer problems and resolve complex issues
- Effectively utilize all available tools and technology to influence customer behavior with established procedures
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of branch staff functions
- Assist manager in the training, direction, compliance, selection, workflow, and evaluation of branch employees
- Provides oversight in the branch when the Branch Manager is not available
- Receiving and processing credit and employment verifications, and recording information obtained
- Processing payments, distributions, and insurance products; handling all aspects of past due account adjustments
- Analyze reports and makes recommendations based on increasing branch profitability
- Performs all other duties as assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ year experience as Personal Loan Specialist and/or related experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- Insurance licensing (if required in state)
- Successful completion of all required training programs
PREFERRED
- Supervisory/Managerial experience
Target base salary range is $25.00-$30.00, which is based on various factors including skills and work experience. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a competitive additional compensation program that is based on individual and company performance.
