Executive Assistant
OneMain Financial is seeking an Executive Assistant to support senior executives in our Midtown Manhattan office. This role is responsible for calendar management, prioritizing meetings, travel arrangements, and ensuring high levels of effectiveness, communication, organization and confidentiality. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, proactive, able to multi-task, reliable, organized, detailed, and driven to produce high quality work.
Responsibilities:
Provides confidential assistance and support to executive staff.
Compiles data to prepare documents and/or presentations for review; assisting with meeting preparation.
Responds to requests for information as appropriate; conducts necessary research to respond to specific inquiries.
Maintains calendars including events, meetings, due dates, and schedules and notify participants as needed.
Handles travel arrangements.
Creates, maintains, and organizes files.
Prepares summaries, spreadsheets, and reports as assigned.
Reviews incoming documents and correspondences for accuracy and validity; ensures that any deadlines are known and complied with.
Utilizes current technologies to enter, store, and/or retrieve information as required.
Partner with administrative staff on team engagement activities and share best practices on delivering best-in-class administrative support.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Operation of computers, printers, scanners and related software and business applications including, but not limited to: MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Excel spreadsheets, video/meeting room setup, Zoom/Teams video setup, and Outlook email and calendar management.
Maintain sensitive and confidential information.
Communicate effectively and be comfortable working as part of a team.
Create and maintain complex and extensive records and reports.
Proactively analyze complex situations and implement effective solutions.
Respond to questions and request for information in an efficient, appropriate, and professional manner.
Perform duties independently without close supervision.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years’ experience supporting C-suite executives required; experience in financial services highly preferred.
High School Diploma or GED required
Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Highest degree of integrity with ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential information.
Team player with a positive attitude; able to work with people at all organizational levels.
High attention to detail
Agile, resourceful, excellent judgement and follow-up
Exceptional proficiency in managing calendars, priorities and schedules for executives.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
Target base salary range is 90k-120k, which is based on various factors including skills and work experience. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a competitive compensation program that is based on individual and company performance.
