Principal GenAI Solution Architect
Location: New York, NY
Role Overview:
This is a strategic technical leadership position in which the expert individual contributor will help our enterprise leverage 3rd-party GenAI powered solutions, vendors/partners, and our internal technology engineering resources to define and deliver an enterprise-wide Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) architecture strategy, evaluation criteria, standards, and execution. This role requires deep technical expertise in Gen/AI, system, software, and enterprise architecture, coupled with proven experience in cultivating a culture of innovation and driving cross-functional alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- GenAI Solutions Architecture:
- Co-formulate a strategy for solution acquisition and partnerships.
- Execute on a GenAI solution architecture strategy, helping to lead the overall GenAI solution integration process from ideation, evaluation, delivery, operationalization, and optimization in order to effectively automate workflows within corporate functions such as compliance, risk, governance, finance, legal, HR, and IT.
- Represent the GenAI architecture vision and solutions in high-level strategic discussions, driving collaboration across various teams and departments to ensure alignment with overarching business goals.
- GenAI Platform & Product Innovation:
- Hands-on design and build our shared enterprise GenAI platform to promote best-in-class GenAI capabilities, reusability, scalability, observability, and security for implementing RAG, and multi-agent and tool use via MCP and other GenAI-centric reference architectures.
- Hands-on lead architecture through design, implementation, and delivery of internally built enterprise-grade GenAI products that deliver measurable impact.
- Pioneer Proofs of Concept (PoCs) product innovation.
- Enterprise Technology Platform Alignment
- Ensure the successful integration of new GenAI soultions within our existing and ever-evolving technology echo-system for maximum interoperability.
- Enforce our company’s security and architecture standards, principles, and help define and advance our target state vision.
Skills:
- A well rounded practical technologist; commercially minded, result driven, strategic thinker and market maker.
- Deep GenAI, system, and software architecture chops.
- Excellent problem-solving and reasoning skills.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications:
- A relevant Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience; a Master's degree with 7 years of experience; or a PhD with 5 years of experience.
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, System/Software Architect, or with a focus on AI/ML and Generative AI.
- Experience working with LLMs and Vector Databases.
- Experience with development and troubleshooting code.
- Experience with of containerization and orchestration tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with data modeling, data warehouses and analysis tools (Snowflake, PowerBI, SQL, Python, R).
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry such as the financial or insurance industries.
