Hard Skip Specialist
- Conduct daily skip tracing activities to locate individuals and collateral for the recovery of charged-off assets.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with both new and established repossession vendors.
- Manage all assigned accounts, focusing on the timely repossession of collateral.
- Prepare, process, and send required Federal and State regulatory paperwork, including notices, affidavits, and other supporting documents.
- Manage replevin actions, coordinating with legal teams and appropriate parties.
- Collaborate with the Repossession team to strategize and implement effective recovery tactics.
- Secure assets on previously charged-off accounts, ensuring all procedural and regulatory requirements are met.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support recovery operations.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience in skip tracing, repossession, or collateral recovery, with a proven track record of successfully locating and recovering charged-off assets using advanced investigative techniques
- Prior experience in an auto finance or recovery environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding recovery goals
- Ability to thrive both individually and within a team in a fast-paced, target-driven setting
Location: On Site - West Valley City, UT
Work Schedule:
The average work week is Monday through Friday from 9a-6p. The schedule includes one rotating Saturday every 6 to 8 weeks.
