A Skip Team Lead oversees the day-to day operations of a team of repossession specialists responsible for locating customers and collateral. All duties must be performed with a high degree of professionalism and integrity while following all applicable laws and regulations.

Location: Onsite in West Valley City, UT

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 9am-6pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Makes outbound and handles inbound escalations while adhering to FDCPA and CFPB regulations.
  • Training and daily work coordination for assigned team members. This includes classes and meetings with team regarding updates on changes to all state and federal repossession and collection regulations.
  • Facilitate ongoing training on processes, procedures and ensure compliance while reducing loan loss.
  • Assist and perform all daily skip trace activities to locate individuals for payment of debt and recovery of collateral.
  • Maintain and establish new repossession and transport vendor relationships.
  • Ensure all accounts are worked appropriately while meeting QA expectations.
  • Completes required applicable paperwork including sending all required Federal and State regulation letters.

Requirements:

  • Requires a High School diploma or equivalent training.
  • Minimum of 3-5 year collections experience with a focus on leadership and skip tracing to prevent loan loss.
