Procurement Analyst
The Procurement Analyst at OneMain Financial will play a critical role in supporting strategic and operational procurement initiatives by delivering data-driven insights, optimizing sourcing decisions and ensuring procurement activities align with organizational goals. This position will partner closely with category managers and business stakeholders to analyze spending patterns, evaluate supplier performance, and uncover opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen supplier relationships. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations in a fast-paced environment.
In the Role, You Will:
Analyze procurement data, spending trends, and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities, category insights and process improvements.
Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics tools that support sourcing strategies and procurement decision-making.
Support sourcing events by preparing market research, pricing comparisons, cost modeling and supplier evaluation materials.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and align procurement analytics with business objectives.
Develop and maintain accurate records of supplier contracts, performance metrics and procurement analytics.
Assist in evaluating supplier proposals, total cost of ownership and risk assessments to support category strategies.
Track and report on procurement KPIs, including cycle times, contract compliance, savings realization and supplier scorecards.
Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders, deliveries or supplier performance in a timely manner.
Partner with the sourcing leads to implement category strategies and ensure alignment with enterprise procurement goals.
Recommend enhancements to procurement processes, tools and policies based on analytical insights and best practices.
Ensure compliance with company procurement standards and support audit, documentation and data-integrity initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Economics or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in procurement, data analysis, supply chain analytics or financial analysis.
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience in data modeling, trend analysis and generating actionable insights.
Proficiency with Excel, reporting tools, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau); experience with Coupa, Oracle or similar procurement systems preferred.
Understanding of procurement processes, supplier management and sourcing methodologies.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into clear insights for business stakeholders.
High attention to detail and accuracy in managing procurement analytics and documentation.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated integrity, professionalism and commitment to ethical procurement practices.
