We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SOX Staff Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with senior team members to support audit and advisory activities that strengthen internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) and improve operational efficiency. Reporting to the SOX Manager, you will help assess risks and controls using OneMain’s control assessment approach, while gaining hands-on experience in SOX compliance governance and process improvement. You will interact with internal and external auditors, business process owners, and senior leaders, serving as a key liaison for SOX-related activities.
In this Role You Will:
Participate in evaluation of process design documentation including preparing workpapers and documenting results.
Support the maintenance and organization of control documentation (e.g., flowcharts, risk-control matrix, process narratives).
Assist with preparation of completeness and accuracy procedures for populations utilized in operating effectiveness testing.
Attend team meetings and work with cross-functional teams to assist with process improvement discussions.
Support team projects related to control optimization, automation, or audit readiness.
Help coordinate and compile documentation requests for external and internal auditors.
Participate in special assignments for management as requested.
Collaborate with senior team members to support cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related business field.
Prior relevant work experience, such as internship or entry-level roles in accounting, audit, or internal controls.
Interest in pursuing a long-term career in audit, SOX compliance, or related fields.
