The Operations Support Supervisor is responsible for managing the performance of centralized servicing functions assigned to the Collections Team to ensure adherence to service levels and compliance with business and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will supervise, coordinate and train assigned staff in an effort to maintain department objectives. An Operations Support Supervisor must possess and apply necessary technical and analytical skills in order to complete the assigned tasks and analysis projects.

In the Role:

  • Coach and assist staff to maintain optimal performance. Foster an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Establish, review, and implement procedures for work activities within a team unit.
  • Review, analyze, and create reports.
  • Assign and distribute workflow.
  • Conduct appraisals, new hire, and termination interviews.
  • Recommend and administer corrective action or recognition for job performance.
  • Maintain position documentation, policies, and procedures as appropriate.
  • Respond to requests from department liaison.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two (2) years’ experience in the collection industry
  • Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency

Preferred

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree
  • Four (4) or more years’ experience in the collection industry
