VP/D Credit Pricing & Analytics

The Role
This role will have the exciting opportunity to work across an integrative set of pricing strategies for a diverse suite of products, focused on optimization and pricing diversification. These strategies include but are not limited to product/customer segment pricing, channel optimization, risk/margin/volume trade-off framework development, & new product pricing to drive resilient growth.
Working with various partners, the role will also have responsibilities of reporting, strategy implementation, strategy validation and ad-hoc analyses including customer segmentation, competitive analysis, performance monitoring, sensitivity analysis and modeling.
A successful candidate will expand their competencies and grow their business and industry acumen, as well as demonstrate the ability to work on complex processes or projects across the end-to-end project cycle. They will gain knowledge to suggest new answers to old questions, develop insights and push the traditional boundaries of the lending industry.
Key Responsibilities
Design, recommend, document, and execute consumer credit underwriting and pricing strategies to optimize our lending portfolio
Lead a team to conduct statistical analysis and develop profit-driven decision framework and risk strategies within risk appetite with full credit cycle view to drive healthy growth
Partner with other leaders to define business priorities, align talent and resources and communicate progress to executive management
Understand the data environment to appropriately prioritize and set expectations for key reporting, modeling, and analytical priorities
Leverage traditional regression models and machine learning algorithms to understand the key drivers and estimate customer behaviors
Drive profitable business growth via developing strategy optimization framework with full credit-cycle view
Effectively prioritize competing initiatives across direct reports; translate strategic priorities into individual/team initiatives and manage expectations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline (Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business Management or Computer Science)
8+ years of experience in consumer lending preferred; Master’s or PHD degrees may offset experience. 5+ years required
5+ years of analytics leadership experience preferred, building and prioritizing teams and objectives based on company strategy. 3+ years required
Innovative and capable of developing creative solutions to complex, data-driven problems
Knowledge and experience in tools and frameworks to optimize product and pricing decisions
